Our Story

Once upon a time in the quaint town of Cape Town, a visionary named Samuel Kelly decided to turn his passion for craftsmanship into a thriving business. In 1950, he founded Leo Tiles, a modest workshop tucked away on the outskirts of town.

Samuel's dedication to quality and innovation quickly set Leo Tiles apart. The company's artisans perfected unique glazing techniques, creating tiles that adorned homes and businesses across the world. As demand grew, so did the Kelly family legacy.

In the swinging 60s, Leo Tiles embraced bold designs, reflecting the spirit of the era. The 70s saw the introduction of eco-friendly practices, as the company prioritized sustainability. The 80s and 90s witnessed technological leaps, with Leo Tiles at the forefront of digital design and production.

Into the 21st century, the company continued to evolve. Under the leadership of Samuel's son, Mark Kelly, Leo Tiles embraced smart technologies, allowing customers to customize their tiles with a click.
